Slater's Commercial Directory of Somersetshire, 1852

This CD contains a high quality scan of Slater's Commercial Directory of Somersetshire, 1852 (a late Pigot & Co. directory). It contains a general description of each Town and Parish, statistics from the early census returns, and a list of all trades-people, Gentry and Clergy, and their residences. This edition is very useful as it was issued just after the 1851 census, and is complete with a map of the county.
